Personal Assistant / Companion Required
A friendly and reliable Personal Assistant is required to support a 49-year-old disabled man who is a full-time wheelchair user.
The role involves providing companionship, assisting with day-to-day activities, and accompanying him on outings and trips. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys helping others maintain an active and independent lifestyle.
Duties may include:
- Providing companionship and social support
- Assisting with daily activities as required
- Accompanying on trips, appointments, and social outings
- Supporting independence and wellbeing
- Driving and assisting with transportation
Hours:
- 2 weekdays per week, 9:00am – 3:00pm
- One full weekend per month, stay over.
- Additional periods of support for a few weeks each year (dates to be confirmed)
The ideal candidate will be:
- Friendly, patient, and reliable
- Flexible and trustworthy
- Comfortable supporting a wheelchair user
- Possess good communication skills
- Hold a driving licence
Experience in care or support work is welcome but not essential, as the right attitude and personality are most important.
