Case Handler
Location: Bolton
Salary: £25,056 per year
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 8.30 - 5.00PM
About the Role
If you’re looking for a role where no two days are the same and you can build real skills from day one, this could be a great fit. As a Case Handler, you’ll help manage claims from start to finish, making sure everything runs smoothly and people are kept in the loop.
You’ll spend your day speaking with customers, booking appointments, and keeping cases organised—basically making sure nothing slips through the cracks. It’s a great mix of admin, communication, and problem-solving, and you’ll learn loads as you go with support from the team around you.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Managing your own caseload of claims and keeping everything on track
- Speaking with clients, solicitors, and medical experts (phone & email)
- Booking medical appointments at times that suit the client
- Sending the right information to medical experts so they can complete reports
- Keeping case details accurate and up to date on the system
- Responding to queries and resolving issues in a professional way
- Spotting problems early and flagging them when needed
- Working towards team and individual targets
What We’re Looking For
- Good communication skills (both written and verbal)
- Some experience in admin, customer service, retail, or office work
- Comfortable using computers, including Microsoft Word and Excel
- Organised, with good attention to detail
- Someone who’s reliable, positive, and willing to learn
- A team player who’s happy to get stuck in
