Maintenance Person (Full-Time)

We are looking for a reliable, practical, and hardworking Maintenance Person to help maintain two busy hospitality properties to a high standard.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll play a key part in ensuring our buildings, guest areas, bedrooms, and back-of-house facilities remain safe, well-presented, and fully operational.
Responsibilities
- Carry out general maintenance and repairs throughout the properties.
- Complete painting, decorating, and basic carpentry tasks.
- Perform minor plumbing repairs such as replacing taps, fixing leaks, and clearing blockages.
- Undertake basic electrical maintenance (where competent and appropriate).
- Assemble and repair furniture and fixtures.
- Maintain outdoor areas, including pathways, gardens, fencing, and general grounds.
- Respond quickly to maintenance issues reported by guests or staff.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify and resolve maintenance concerns before they become major problems.
- Liaise with external contractors when specialist work is required.
- Ensure all work is completed safely and in line with health and safety regulations.
- Keep maintenance areas, tools, and equipment clean, organised, and in good working order.
About You
We’re looking for someone who:
- Has previous maintenance or property maintenance experience.
- Is confident using a wide range of hand and power tools.
- Has practical skills across multiple trades.
- Can work independently and prioritise workloads.
- Has excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Takes pride in delivering high standards.
- Is flexible, dependable, and willing to help wherever needed.
- Holds a full UK driving licence (preferred).
