We are currently recruiting for an Assistant Parts Centre Manager in Stroud on behalf of a leading independently-owned automotive parts retailer. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a managerial role within a well-established business that operates nearly 40 sites across the UK.
The Assistant Parts Centre Manager role involves supporting the branch’s daily operations, leading a dedicated team, and delivering exceptional customer service. Our client is seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual who can help drive sales growth and improve branch performance.

Duties:
- Assist in overseeing a team of 6, including Parts Sales Advisors, Drivers, and Warehouse Operatives
- Develop strong customer relationships to increase sales, margins, and customer satisfaction
- Handle a high volume of inbound and outbound calls, engaging proactively with customers
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are fully met
- Utilise business data to identify and implement sales and growth opportunities
- Complete all callbacks efficiently and ensure excellent after-sales service
- Support branch management in monitoring and improving branch performance
Requirements for the Assistant Parts Centre Manager position:
- Proven experience within automotive parts, ideally in telesales or trade parts at a supervisory level
- Full UK manual driving licence is essential
- Ability to commute reasonably to the Stroud area
- Strong leadership skills with a customer-centric approach
- Organised, proactive, and capable of working effectively within a team environment
