ISQ Recruitment is recruiting for a Project Engineer to join a technical product development business working within pharmaceutical and medical device projects.
This role would suit a Project Engineer, Development Engineer, NPI Engineer, Design Transfer Engineer or Technical Project Engineer with experience in a regulated product development, pharmaceutical, medical device, combination product or quality-led manufacturing environment.
You will support product development projects from development activity through to verification, industrialisation and manufacturing transfer, working closely with engineering, quality, suppliers and external partners.
The Role
Duties will include:
- Coordinating engineering activity across internal teams, suppliers and manufacturing partners
- Taking ownership of assigned actions, timelines, workstreams and technical deliverables
- Supporting engineering builds, verification, qualification and design transfer activity
- Preparing and maintaining technical documentation, project records and development files
- Supporting design control and quality system requirements
- Tracking project actions, risks and issues
- Helping resolve technical or operational issues affecting project delivery
- Supporting supplier, customer and manufacturing partner activity
- Contributing to industrialisation and manufacturing transfer work
- Taking part in technical reviews, root cause investigations and improvement activity
What We Are Looking For
The successful candidate will ideally have:
- Experience in project engineering, development engineering, NPI, design transfer or technical project delivery
- Experience within pharmaceutical, medical device, combination product, life sciences, regulated manufacturing or a similar quality-led environment
- Good engineering understanding and a practical approach to solving technical issues
- Experience supporting verification, qualification, industrialisation or transfer activity
- Confidence working with engineering, quality, suppliers or external partners
- Good technical documentation skills
- Strong organisation, communication and attention to detail
