Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive business growth. Duties
- Lead, motivate, and supervise the sales team to achieve organisational targets and maximise revenue.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies tailored to different markets and customer segments.
- Manage key client relationships, ensuring excellent service and fostering long-term partnerships.
- Oversee merchandising activities to optimise product presentation and maximise sales opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance metrics, analyse data, and prepare reports for senior management.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance team members’ product knowledge, sales techniques, and customer service skills.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to plan promotional campaigns and events that boost brand visibility.
- Ensure adherence to company policies, procedures, and ethical standards across all sales activities.
- Manage administrative tasks related to sales operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and record keeping.
- Maintain excellent phone etiquette when engaging with clients or prospects, ensuring professional communication at all times.
Requirements
- Proven experience in management roles within retail or sales environments, with supervising experience preferred.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to manage teams effectively and foster a collaborative work environment.
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written; multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly advantageous.
- Demonstrated success in sales management, including developing strategies that increase revenue streams.
- Solid understanding of merchandising principles and retail operations.
- Good time management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Administrative experience related to sales operations such as reporting, budgeting, or CRM systems.
- Professional phone etiquette coupled with strong organisational skills for managing client interactions smoothly.
