Level 3 Childcare Assistant
An exciting opportunity has arisen and we looking for a Welsh speaking childcare practitioner to work at our nursery in Llanhari. The role will involve working with children to support their development, to safeguard them and to promote their welfare.
The Successful Candidate must hold a recognised Level 3 Early Years Qualification and have had experience working with under 2 year olds. They will preferably have experience of working within an early years setting. (Level 2 candidates may also be considered).
The Nursery is open 7.30am to 4.30pm 47weeks ( Term time plus all holidays except for 1 week Christmas, 1 week Easter and only work for first 3 weeks of summer holidays). The hours of work will be 29.25 per week term time only, 8.45 - 2.30 Monday- Friday. This is a maternity cover contract. Start date 01.09.2026.
Successful candidates will be given full support and training opportunities to include mandatory fields e.g. Safeguarding, First aid and those relating to continual professional development in addition to those reflecting good practice. Training may need to be undertaken outside of normal working hours.
The post is subject to pre employment checks including but not limited to: DBS checks, qualification checks, reference checks and identity checks

Pay: £12.75 per hour
