is looking for a reliable and hardworking Furniture Sprayer / Workshop Assistant to join our growing team.
This role would suit someone with spraying experience who takes pride in producing high-quality finishes and is happy to be involved in all aspects of the workshop when required. There is also an opportunity to learn bespoke joinery skills and gain wider experience within the company.
Main Responsibilities
- Preparing furniture and joinery items for spraying
- Spraying bespoke furniture and joinery using water-based products
- Sanding, masking, priming, and finishing to a high standard
- Cleaning and maintaining the spray booth and spraying equipment
- Managing and keeping on top of spraying materials and stock levels
- Assisting in the workshop between spraying jobs
- Helping with general workshop duties and production when needed
- Occasionally assisting on site with furniture and joinery installations
Requirements
- Previous experience spraying furniture or joinery preferred
- Experience with water-based products advantageous
- Good attention to detail and quality control
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Organised and reliable with a good work ethic
- CSCS card beneficial but not essential
- Full UK driving licence preferred
