We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Hairdresser to join our vibrant salon team. Responsibilities
- Providing a wide range of hairdressing services including cutting, colouring, styling, and specialised treatments
- Offering personalised consultations to understand clients’ preferences and recommend suitable styles or treatments
- Performing additional beauty services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other cosmetic procedures as required
- Managing front desk duties including appointment scheduling, client check-in, and payment processing
- Mentoring junior team members and assisting with store management tasks when necessary
- Upselling products and services to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
- Ensuring the salon maintains high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation at all times
- Building strong relationships with clients through excellent communication skills and personalised service
Skills
- Proven experience in hairdressing with a strong portfolio of work
- Knowledge of store management principles and customer service excellence
- Barbering skills are advantageous for offering diverse styling options
- Proficiency in front desk operations including booking systems and client communication
- Experience with eyelash extensions, makeup application, and other beauty treatments is desirable
- Ability to upsell products and services effectively to maximise sales opportunities
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients professionally and confidently
- Mentoring abilities to support team development and knowledge sharing
- Organisational skills to manage appointments efficiently while maintaining a welcoming environment
