Pure Resi are seeking a dedicated Cleaner and Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of various outdoor and indoor spaces across our portfolio, ensuring they are safe, functional, and visually appealing. The successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail, practical skills in landscaping, Cleaning and maintenance, and a proactive approach to work.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular cleaning of indoor facilities, including floors, surfaces, and fixtures to uphold high standards of hygiene and presentation.
- Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as mowing lawns, trimming hedges, weeding flower beds, and planting new greenery.
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely for tasks including pruning, edging, and general landscaping.
- Use mechanical equipment such as excavators for larger landscaping or construction projects when required.
- Maintain irrigation systems to ensure proper watering of plants and lawns.
- Carry out routine maintenance on grounds equipment and tools to ensure optimal functioning.
- Assist with minor construction or repair work related to outdoor structures or pathways.
- Follow health and safety guidelines diligently during all tasks to prevent accidents or injuries.
Qualifications
- Experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, horticulture or groundskeeping is preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge relevant to operating power tools, hand tools, and small machinery such as excavators is advantageous.
- Practical skills in construction-related activities and the use of gardening equipment are beneficial.
- Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail in both cleaning and landscape work.
- Good physical fitness to perform manual tasks including lifting, digging, and operating machinery safely.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: £30,000.00-£31,500.00 per year
