HOUSEKEEPER/KITCHEN ASSISTANT 12 Hour Contract
Saxon Court is a beautiful independent living site which has 46 apartments including communal dining room , games room , salon and gardens .
We are seeking a housekeeper/ kitchen assistant to join our fantastic team
The required shifts as follows
Mondays 3pm to 6pm
Tuesdays 3pm to 6pm
Wednesdays 3pm to 6pm
Fridays 3pm to 6pm
Initially this will start as a 12 hour per week contract with the spectrum of increasing to a 29 hour per week contract after the completion of the statutory probationary period
The ability to cover holiday and sickness periods would also be beneficial .

We are seeking a Housekeeper / Kitchen assistant to join our team in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of our premises and also help as a kitchen assistant , The ideal candidate will have experience in cleaning , hotel housekeeping or kitchen assistance , with a keen eye for detail and a passion for delivering excellent customer service.
## Responsibilities
Each owner has been guaranteed 1.5 hours help in their own apartment each week .
the nature of the tasks to be undertaken is the responsibility of the manager and the housekeepers and will be determined in consultation with the owner and the housekeeping assistant .
An integral part of the work of the housekeeping assistants at the discretion of the manager and duty manager is to help the cook in the kitchen , to serve meals in the dining room and light refreshments in the sitting room and clear away .
- Clean and tidy rooms, corridors, and common areas
- Dusting, vacuuming, mopping floors, and polishing surfaces
- Change bed linen and towels
- Replenish amenities such as toiletries and refreshments
- Report any maintenance issues to the relevant department
- To insure foodstuffs such as potatoes and vegetables are ready for our restaurant
- To assist with the cleaning of our Kitchens , lounges and dining rooms
- Adhere to health and safety guidelines
## Skills
- Experience in cleaning or hotel housekeeping
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong attention to detail
- Good communication skills for interacting with guests and colleagues
