Job Overview
We are currently recruiting for an experienced SCO 91 National Gas Authorised Person / Supervisor for a key gas infrastructure project based in Wooler, Northumberland.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a National Gas project, offering strong day rates, lodge allowance and the potential for further work beyond the initial contract period.
The Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising site activities and ensuring all works are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with National Gas procedures and project requirements.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing day-to-day site operations and workforce activities
- Ensuring compliance with National Gas safety standards and procedures
- Managing permits and safe systems of work
- Supervising site activities in accordance with SCO 91 requirements
- Liaising with site management and wider project teams
- Maintaining high standards of health, safety and quality on site
Requirements
- Valid SHEA Gas certificate
- SCO 91 National Gas Authorised Person / Supervisor Certification
- Previous experience working on National Gas projects
- Strong understanding of safe systems of work and permit procedures
- Proven ability to supervise site activities and maintain project compliance
