We are seeking a professional and vigilant SIA Door Supervisor to ensure the safety and security of premises, staff, and visitors. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through effective surveillance, loss prevention, and crowd control. This role requires a high level of alertness, excellent communication skills, and the ability to respond swiftly to various situations. All applicants must hold a valid SIA licence and be committed to upholding safety standards at all times.
Duties
- Monitor entry and exit points to verify identification and maintain a secure environment
- Conduct regular surveillance using CCTV systems to observe activity within the premises
- Prevent unauthorised access and manage crowd control during events or busy periods
- Respond promptly to incidents, providing first aid when necessary and liaising with emergency services if required
- Enforce rules and regulations with professionalism and courtesy
- Maintain detailed incident reports and communicate effectively with team members and management
- Ensure the safety of all personnel by being vigilant
Experience
- Previous experience in security or a similar role is advantageous but not essential as training will be provided
- First aid certification is mandatory for this role
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- A professional demeanour with excellent observational skills and attention to detail
- Valid SIA licence is mandatory for employment in this role
