Help protect and improve places to ride – now and for future generations
Do you care about protecting access to safe off‑road routes for riders and carriage drivers?
British Horse Society is looking for Access & Bridleway Officers to help safeguard and improve equestrian access at a local level.
In this volunteer role, you’ll work alongside other volunteers, colleagues and local partners to:
- Protect existing riding routes and rights of way
- Respond to local access challenges and opportunities
- Support the development of safer, connected networks of routes
- Represent equestrians’ interests in your area
You don’t need to be an expert as full training, guidance and ongoing support are provided. What matters most is your commitment, attention to detail, and willingness to make a difference.
