GB Tyres UK Ltd family are one of Europe's fastest growing Tyre wholesalers and as part of our continued growth plans, we are looking for a Warehouse Person to operate from our warehouse in Oldbury.
This is a demanding but rewarding role, you will need to be physically fit and prepared to work Mon - Friday and every other Saturday half day . (overtime may be required). Timing is 10:00 - 20:00 (Saturday 8:00-13:00)
Daily Duties:
- Prepare and complete orders for delivery using a clamp forklift or pickup according to schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship)
- Receive and process warehouse stock products (pick, unload, store)
- Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high for audits.
- Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimise space utilisation
- Report any discrepancies.
- Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and co-workers.
- Operate warehouse vehicles and equipment. Clamp and counter balance forklifts
- Follow quality service standards and comply with Health & Safety procedures, rules and regulations.
- Applicants with a valid Forklift driving licence would be at an advantage in applying for this role.
- Applicants with prior tyre experience would be at an advantage and preferred
- Pay is Weekly or Monthly
