About Us
JMF Windows & Doors is a growing, family run business based in Oxfordshire, specialising in the supply and installation of uPVC, timber, and aluminium windows and doors. Known for our high standards, tidy workmanship, and strong customer relationships, we are now looking to expand our installation team with an experienced Window Fitter who takes pride in their work.
Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Window Fitter with a minimum of 2 years’ fitting experience to carry out high-quality residential installations across Oxfordshire and surrounding areas. This role is ideal for someone who can work confidently on-site, represent the company professionally, and deliver excellent results with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Install uPVC, timber, and aluminium windows and doors to a high standard
- Ensure all work meets industry regulations and company quality expectations
- Work independently or as part of a small team to complete installations efficiently
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and professional site at all times
- Communicate clearly with customers and team members
- Accurately assess on-site requirements and resolve fitting issues
- Follow all health & safety procedures
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Window Fitter
- Full UK driving licence (must be able to drive)
- Own hand tools and fitting equipment
- Strong knowledge of uPVC, timber, and aluminium systems
- Ability to work independently and manage jobs professionally
- High attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Reliable, punctual, and well-presented
- Self-employed status
