About Prep Lab
Prep Lab is a growing professional nail industry brand dedicated to providing high-quality tools and products for nail technicians. We’re building a strong online presence through educational, engaging, and relatable content and are looking for a creative Content Creator to help bring the brand to life.
The Role
We’re looking for someone who lives and breathes social media and can create engaging content for TikTok, Instagram and other digital platforms.
This role would suit someone who enjoys filming, editing, spotting trends and creating content that feels authentic rather than overly corporate.
You’ll work closely with the founder to develop content ideas, film products, create educational and promotional content, and help grow our online community.
Responsibilities
- Create engaging video content for TikTok and Instagram Reels
- Film and edit product demonstrations and tutorials
- Capture behind-the-scenes content
- Stay up to date with social media trends and identify opportunities for Prep Lab
- Create photo and video content for product launches
- Assist with content planning and scheduling
- Repurpose content across multiple platforms
- Help develop a consistent brand presence and voice
What We’re Looking For
- Experience creating content for TikTok and Instagram
- Confident filming and editing short-form video content
- Strong understanding of current social media trends
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate fresh content ideas
- Excellent attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- An interest in beauty, nails, or the professional beauty industry is desirable but not essential
Bonus Points If You Have
- Experience growing social media accounts
- Photography skills
- Graphic design experience using Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- Experience working with e-commerce or product-based brands
