Job Title: Electrician
Overview:
Due to gaining extra contracts Manchester Electrical are looking to recruit more electricians to join our team. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring. If you are skilled in electrical work and enjoy working with hand tools and power tools, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Responsibilities:
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential settings
- Inspect electrical components to identify issues and troubleshoot malfunctions
- Must be competent in test and inspection along with filling out electronic certificates
- Use hand tools and power tools to complete electrical projects efficiently
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
- Adhere to safety protocols and electrical codes to maintain a safe work environment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally
Qualifications:
- Applicants must hold NVQ or be working towards and have a minimum of 5 years experience.
- Proficiency in working with electrical systems, hand tools, and power tools
- Knowledge of electrical codes and 18th edition
- Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and colleagues
