We are a well-established Lancashire-based Building Services company seeking experienced, fully qualified electricians to join our team.
Applicants must have completed an electrotechnical apprenticeship to NVQ 3, hold a Gold ECS card, and ideally have a minimum of two years’ post-qualification experience. You must be competent in interpreting construction drawings drawings, be familiar with CDM 2015, and qualified to BS 7671 (18th Edition).
IPAF, PASMA and asbestos awareness qualifications are preferred
We’re seeking professional, proactive individuals with strong problem-solving skills who can work efficiently in technically challenging and occupied environments. Good communication skills are essential, including the ability to read, write and speak English to a standard necessary for site safety, and to communicate effectively with clients on site. IT literacy is also required for timesheets, site documentation and internal communications.
Our work is predominantly for prestigious clients on a repeat business basis in the industrial, commercial, retail, government estate, airport and hospital sectors.
The role requires a self-motivated individual with a willingness to travel and a full driving licence. It will also be necessary to be able to pass enhanced DBS checks and client specific screenings, due to the security requirements on many of our projects.
Working hours vary by project and may include day or night shifts, typically averaging 40- 48 hours per week. Our sites are located across the UK, so you must be prepared to stay away from home during the week when working on many of our projects.
This is a full-time role offered on either a PAYE or CIS basis, subject to references. Immediate start available. Rates vary depending on experience/qualifications and shift patterns, with travel and accommodation allowances provided where applicable.
