We are looking to recruit a skilled 360 Excavator Operator for our well established client in the local area based on a day shift. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating the 360 excavator and to assist in various projects on site. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations, the ability to dig efficiently, and a commitment to safety on the job site.
Responsibilities
- Operate 360 excavators and other heavy machinery for digging, lifting, and move materials on site.
- Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
- Follow all safety protocols and regulations while operating machinery to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, ensuring that tools and equipment are stored properly after use.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a 360 Excavator Operator or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot minor issues with machinery.
- Valid 360 licence is essential.
- Ability to dig accurately according to project specifications and plans.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Commitment to maintaining high safety standards on site.
This role will be based on a shift pattern of four on and four off and will include working weekends :-
Hours - 07.00 to 19.00 - Pay £16.27 per hour
