The Role: Electrician (Renewables) Centreco
Location: UK (site-based, with travel as required)
Reporting to: Electrical Supervisor / Project Manager
As part of our Renewables business, you will deliver electrical installation, maintenance, and testing services across commercial solar PV projects. The role exists to ensure all electrical works are completed safely, compliantly, and to the highest standards, supporting the delivery of reliable and high-performing renewable energy solutions.

Electrical installation, upgrades, and remedial works in line with current regulations

Testing, inspection, and certification of electrical systems

Fault finding, diagnostics, and effective repairs

Completion of job sheets, test results, and compliance documentation

Adherence to company procedures, site RAMS, and health & safety standards

Delivery of high-quality workmanship across all projects

Support installation and commissioning of commercial solar PV systems

Ensure compliance with UK electrical standards and regulations

Maintain professional and customer-focused conduct on site

Contribute to project timelines and successful delivery

Support continuous improvement in safety and operational performance

Maintain tools, equipment, and materials in good working order

Worked as a qualified electrician in commercial or industrial environments

Carried out installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems

Experience working with 3-phase systems, inverters, batteries, and associated equipment
Strong understanding of UK electrical regulations (BS 7671 18th Edition)
Knowledge of testing and inspection standards (2391 / 2394 / 2395)
Awareness of renewable technologies such as solar PV, battery storage, and EV systems
Safety-focused with a strong attention to detail
Reliable, professional, and customer-oriented
Proactive with a willingness to learn and develop
Diagnosing faults and delivering effective solutions
Working independently and as part of a team on-site
Managing workload and meeting project deadlines
Willingness to travel across the UK and work on-site as required
Flexibility to work varied hours depending on project needs
