ACR is working with a well-established manufacturing business supplying specialist roofing and solar installation products to distributors across the UK. Due to continued growth and an upcoming departure, the business is now seeking a Sales Administrator to join its close-knit team and support day-to-day sales operations.

The Role
Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the sales function and ensuring a smooth order-to-delivery process. The Sales Administrator will act as a central point of coordination between customers, logistics, and internal teams.
- Process customer orders accurately using Sage 50
- Manage incoming emails, enquiries, and purchase orders
- Liaise with couriers and logistics providers to coordinate deliveries
- Confirm despatches and provide delivery updates to customers
- Track shipments and resolve any delivery issues proactively
- Support Sales Account Managers with administrative tasks
- Maintain accurate customer and order records within systems
- Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure timely fulfilment
- Assist with general sales administration duties as required
The Requirements
- Previous experience in a Sales Administrator or sales support role
- Experience processing orders and managing customer communications
- Familiarity with Sage 50 or similar ERP systems is highly desirable, but not essential
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Confident communicator with a professional and customer-focused approach
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a busy environment
- Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently and as part of a team
- Experience within manufacturing, distribution, or logistics environments is advantageous
