Hamptons are proud to partner with one of the UK’s leading Children’s Residential Care providers in their search for a dedicated Senior Residential Support Worker. This exciting opportunity, based in the Bicester, Oxfordshire.
The role:
- Deliver day-to-day care and practical support to young people, including helping with household tasks, meal preparation, and developing life skills such as budgeting and independent shopping.
- Support and encourage involvement in hobbies, social activities, and opportunities within the local community.
- Promote a safe and secure living environment by adhering to company policies, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted regulations, including accurate incident reporting and record keeping.
- Build strong, positive relationships with young people, offering guidance and emotional support while helping them manage behavioural and emotional challenges.
- Assist with transportation to education settings, healthcare appointments, social activities, and other planned commitments.
- Lead by example as a trusted and consistent role model, setting clear expectations and encouraging positive outcomes.
What we’re looking for:
- Minimum of 12 months experience of working within residential care.
- NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Children Residential Care, or equivalent (or at least 50% way through).
- Full UK driving licence.
