We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented individual to support the Managing Director in a dynamic professional environment. This role involves providing comprehensive administrative assistance, managing correspondence, and ensuring smooth daily operations. The successful candidate will possess excellent organisational skills, proficiency in relevant software, and a professional demeanour to effectively liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain schedules, appointments, and meetings for the Managing Director.
- Prepare and organise documents, reports, and presentations using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
- Handle incoming calls with professional phone etiquette, directing enquiries as appropriate.
- Perform data entry tasks accurately.
- Assist with general administrative duties including filing, photocopying, and organising office supplies.
- Draft correspondence, memos, and emails on behalf of the Managing Director.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and organise logistics for meetings or events.
- Support the team with clerical tasks to ensure efficient office operations.
Experience
- Proven administrative experience in an office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace applications.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
- Excellent data entry skills with high accuracy and attention to detail.
- Previous clerical experience including managing correspondence and scheduling.
- Good phone etiquette and professional communication skills.
- Ability to type swiftly while maintaining accuracy.
- Ability and willingness to learn new skills
- Proficient with Apple mac computers (not essential)
- Good understanding of social media
