to join a busy operational site. This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking individual looking for an immediate start, with the potential for a permanent position following the initial assignment.
This varied role combines telehandler operation with stores and materials management responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Operating a telehandler safely and efficiently around site
- Loading, unloading, and moving materials as required
- Managing incoming and outgoing deliveries
- Booking stock in and out of stores
- Carrying out stock checks and maintaining accurate records
- Ensuring materials are stored safely and correctly
- Supporting site operations with general stores duties
- Following all health and safety procedures
Requirements
- Valid Telehandler Licence (essential)
- Previous experience operating a telehandler in a busy working environment
- Experience working within a stores, warehouse, or materials management role
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong health and safety awareness
Desirable
- Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence
- Previous experience with stock control systems and inventory management
