Compass Associates are proud to be working with a leading national Women's Health provider to recruit a Clinical Services Matron for their recently expanded West Midlands Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced nurse leader to join a modern, specialist healthcare service, playing a key role in supporting clinical teams, driving service excellence and delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide leadership, guidance and support to Clinical Team Leaders and nursing staff.
Oversee the day-to-day delivery of clinical services.
Drive high standards of patient care, safety and clinical governance.
Support workforce planning, recruitment and staff development.
Lead audits, incident management and quality improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with CQC standards, clinical policies and best practice.
Work closely with the senior leadership team to support service growth and operational performance.
This role would suit a confident, compassionate and proactive clinical leader who enjoys balancing operational management with delivering exceptional patient care.
Essential Requirements
Active NMC Pin
Previous clinical leadership or management experience.
Strong understanding of clinical governance and quality improvement.
Experience managing, developing and supporting clinical teams.
Excellent communication, organisational and stakeholder management skills.
This role is based in Birmingham and is commutable from Coventry, Solihull, Wolverhampton, Walsall, Dudley, Tamworth, Lichfield, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Worcester, Nuneaton and Rugby.
