Important Information
This learner:
- Responds poorly to authoritative or confrontational approaches
- Finds change difficult and benefits from preparation and routine
- Requires a trusted adult relationship before meaningful learning can take place
- Benefits from positive reinforcement and clear communication
- May present with school refusal, disengagement or emotional dysregulation when feeling challenged
Schedule
- Monday: 1pm – 3pm
- Wednesday: 1pm – 3pm
- 4 hours per week total
- Community-based delivery at Christchurch Library

Why Apply?
This is an opportunity to make a significant impact on a young person's educational journey during a critical period. The successful tutor will help rebuild confidence, support emotional wellbeing and create positive foundations for a successful return to education.
