We are offering a full-time position working with a mortgage, protection, and specialist lending company in the Cardiff area. The starting basic salary on offer is between £25,000 and £27,000 depending on experience. The role focuses on providing a high level of customer service to our advisers and their customers. It is an important position in the group to ensure the best customer outcomes are achieved in line with regulator guidelines and internal processes. Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to the following:
· Provide excellent compliance, admin and operational support in the regulated division of the group.
· Complete compliance checks on case files to ensure FCA regulations and internal process are followed, and best practice promoted across the network of advisers.
· Provide suitable feedback to advisers to ensure consistently high quality of cases are completed.
· Be first point of contact for queries and escalations from the network of advisers.
· When necessary, take ownership of cases to see them to the release of funds. This involves liaising professionally with third parties and building good working relationships.
· Report issues accurately and make recommendations, as necessary.
· Assist line manager with ad hoc projects and contribute to improving working practices and processes.
· Assist the accounts team with reconciling payments and ad hoc tasks to ensure payments to the advisers are made in line with agreed service levels.
· Conduct root cause analysis across various work streams and groups to identify trends and training needs.
· Help new advisers to the group by providing virtual training sessions and oversight of their cases.
· Answering incoming calls and emails from customers, lenders, solicitors and other third parties.
Experience required for the role of Network Engagement Advisor
· Excellent communication skills both written and verbal. Must be comfortable communicating sometimes complex information to people of varied industry knowledge.
· Ability to work as an effective team member, supporting others and delivering on all tasks.
· Confident problem solver who can present solutions to management.
· Excellent attention to detail and proactive attitude with willingness to assist with ad hoc tasks.
· Ability to adapt to new systems quickly and provide feedback on user improvements.
· Knowledge of the mortgage and protection industry (or financial services in general) is highly desirable, but training will be provided along with great ongoing support.
