About Us
Renata Pasta is an Italian concept focused on high quality pasta and pizza, combining authenticity with a modern dining experience.
We are now looking for a skilled Pizza Chef who specialises in authentic Italian pizza and understands dough at a high level.
The Role
You will lead the pizza section and play a key role in the kitchen. This is a hands on role for someone who understands dough fermentation, hydration, and consistency.
Pizza is a core part of our concept so we need someone who takes pride in it.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and manage pizza dough (mixing, fermentation, proofing)
- Stretch and cook pizzas to a high standard (Neapolitan)
- Control oven performance (electric oven)
- Ensure consistency in texture, crust, and flavour
- Work alongside the team on pasta dishes when needed
- Maintain high hygiene and food safety standards
- Manage stock, prep, and minimise waste
- Train junior chefs on pizza section
Requirements (IMPORTANT)
- Proven experience as a Pizza Chef (essential)
- Dough fermentation (24–72h+)
- Hydration levels
- Flour types (00 flour, blends, etc.)
- Experience with Neapolitan pizza
- Ability to work in a fast paced service
- Passion for quality and consistency
Bonus (Nice to Have)
- Experience with sourdough / long fermentation dough
- Experience with pizza ovens (electric oven)
- Pasta knowledge
- Leadership or Head Chef experience
