The Role
We're looking for a dependable part-time cleaner to join our Sheffield team. This is a straightforward, hands-on role suited to someone who takes pride in their work and can be counted on to show up and get it done.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of offices, retail spaces, and other commercial environments according to specified standards
- Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust all designated areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean and sanitise washrooms, kitchens, and communal areas regularly
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure bins are emptied and replaced as needed
- Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels in designated areas
- Use cleaning equipment and chemicals safely and efficiently, adhering to health and safety guidelines
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning routines to management
- Maintain a high level of professionalism and attention to detail at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques and the use of cleaning equipment is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable with a good work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to follow health and safety procedures diligently
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required, including early mornings or evenings if necessary
This role is ideal for motivated individuals who take pride in delivering clean, safe environments. Prior experience in janitorial services or commercial cleaning will be considered a strong asset.
