Role Overview
We’re looking for an enthusiastic, people‑loving Server to join our front‑of‑house crew. You’ll be the smile, the energy, and the personality of JOJO’S — welcoming guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, and helping create the kind of experience people talk about on the drive home.
Responsibilities
- Guest Greeting — Welcome guests with genuine warmth (bonus points for big smiles)
- Menu Guidance — Present menus and confidently recommend your favourites
- Order Accuracy — Take clear, accurate orders and communicate smoothly with the kitchen
- Food & Drink Service — Serve dishes and drinks with speed, style and JOJO’S charm
- Basic Drink Prep — Prepare simple drinks when needed
- Guest Support — Handle questions, requests or hiccups with calm, confidence and kindness
- Dining Area Care — Keep the dining area clean, tidy and welcoming
- Busy Service Support — Help keep service flowing during lively weekend rushes
- Event Assistance — Support occasional events, parties or catering moments
Requirements
- Previous serving or bartending experience is essential — we cannot accept applicants with no experience
- Strong communication and customer‑service skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
- Positive attitude and team‑focused mindset
- Must be 18+ (due to alcohol service)
- Friday, Saturday and Sunday availability essential
- Hospitality experience: 1 year preferred
- Based in or able to travel to Lowestoft
