We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated person to join our team. Responsibilities
- Supporting young adults with their daily activities, ensuring their safety and comfort at all times
- Assisting with the implementation of individualised care plans tailored to each persons needs
- Providing emotional support and encouragement to foster confidence and independence
- Facilitating engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and developmental growth
- Assisting with transportation when necessary, including driving to appointments or activities
- Maintaining accurate records of care provided and any observations relevant to the child's progress
- Communicating effectively with families, colleagues, and external professionals to ensure cohesive support
- Using IT systems to update records, track progress, and communicate relevant information efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience desirable but not essential; training will be provided for suitable candidates
- Strong communication skills are essential for building trusting relationships with families, and team members
- Familiarity with creating and following care plans to meet individual needs
- Basic IT skills for record keeping and communication purposes are preferred
- Driving licence is desirable for supporting transportation duties but not mandatory for all roles
