Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender to join our vibrant hospitality team. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences
- Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and deliver prompt service
- Ensure the bar area is clean, organised, and complies with food safety standards at all times
- Manage cash transactions efficiently using the POS system
- Monitor guest consumption to promote responsible drinking and prevent over-service
- Restock bar supplies as needed to ensure smooth operation throughout shifts
- Maintain knowledge of current menu offerings, promotions, and events to enhance guest experience
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or food service roles is preferred but not essential; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are key
- Strong understanding of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to engage confidently with guests
- Basic maths skills for handling payments accurately
- Good time management skills to prioritise tasks efficiently during busy shifts
- Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining professionalism and friendliness
- Personal presentation that reflects the welcoming atmosphere of our establishment
