We are looking for an experienced cook to join our friendly care home team. Experience of working in a commercial kitchen is preferred. Knowledge and understanding of dietary requirements and food safety is preferred, however, training will be given.
Hours are 3 days a week starting at 8am - 6.20pm.
The role involves:
Preparing a light lunch such as sandwiches and preparing and cooking an appetising, nutritious dinner for our residents on a daily basis following menus.
Basic ordering, food storage and stock rotation.
Maintaining and adhering to required records on cleaning schedules, temperature probing and fridge temperature.
Pay: Up to £12.71 per hour
