Uzalis is looking for occasional market traders to represent our premium extra virgin olive oil at farmers' markets, artisan food fairs, food festivals, pop-ups and community events across the UK.
This role is suited to people who enjoy speaking with customers, presenting food products and working in a market or event environment.
Important
This opportunity is primarily intended for individuals who already trade at farmers' markets, artisan food fairs, festivals, community events or similar venues, or who have independent access to local selling opportunities.
We are looking for self-motivated individuals who can introduce Uzalis through their own existing market stalls, event presence or local sales activities, rather than applicants seeking traditional employed sales roles.
About Uzalis
Uzalis is a premium extra virgin olive oil produced from early-harvest Chetoui olives grown in our family's groves in northern Tunisia.
The oil is known for its bold, peppery flavour profile, natural polyphenol content and strong provenance story. We are introducing UK customers to high-quality Tunisian olive oil through markets, tastings and local events.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Representing Uzalis at markets, food fairs and pop-up events
- Speaking with customers and introducing them to the product
- Offering tastings where permitted by the event organiser
- Explaining the story, origin and flavour profile of the olive oil
- Selling bottles at events
- Helping set up and maintain a clean, attractive stall
- Processing customer payments
- Providing feedback after events
