Summary
We are seeking a diligent Nursery Cleaner to join our team at Little Beehive Nursery in Newport-on-Tay. In this role, you will play a vital part in maintaining a clean and hygienic environment that supports our mission of providing exceptional care and education for young children.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning duties to ensure all areas of the nursery are hygienic and welcoming.
- Sanitize play areas, restrooms, and kitchen facilities following health and safety standards.
- Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and request replenishments as needed.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and procedures.
- Dispose of waste responsibly and ensure proper storage of cleaning materials.
- Collaborate with staff to address any cleanliness concerns promptly.
- Support the overall safety and hygiene policies of the nursery.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning in childcare settings.
- Ability to work independently with attention to detail.
- Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous experience working in a nursery or similar environment is desirable.
