Hours - 36 hrs a week (3 nights ) 8.45pm - 8.45am
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Nurse to join our healthcare team.
The position is a waking nurse role within the nursing home for 3 nights a week. The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge and a commitment to providing exceptional patient care. As a Nurse, you will play a vital role in ensuring resident nursing needs are supported through the night and ensuring the highest standards of health and safety are maintained.
Duties
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient progress and respond to changes in condition promptly..
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients during their treatment journey.
- Ensure adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards within the healthcare setting.
Requirements
- Valid nursing qualification and registration with the appropriate regulatory body.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and physiology.
- Proven experience in patient care, preferably in a clinical or hospital environment.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
- Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others recover and maintain their health.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
