Product Merchandiser Salary: £30,000–£33,000 per annum Location: Hybrid (commutable to our Andover office 2–3 days per week) Contract: Full-time, permanent
We’re working with a key client in Andover who are looking for a detail-obsessed, commercially minded Product Merchandiser to own the quality and performance of their product content across B2C and B2B eCommerce channels. You’ll make sure every Product Detail Page (PDP) is accurate, compliant, on-brand, and optimised to convert—coordinating with suppliers, purchasing, and the wider eCommerce team to keep everything current and best-in-class.

What you’ll do
- Own PDP accuracy and consistency: badges, labels, key features, images, descriptions, specifications, titles, prices, and all on-page selling elements.
- Ensure compliance documentation is in place: energy labels, fiche files, and manuals—source from suppliers or internal teams and upload promptly.
- Maintain rich media quality: verify image accuracy and relevance; work with suppliers and purchasing to source and update assets.
- Police data quality: report and rectify incorrect details; coordinate updates across suppliers, internal departments, and trusted online resources.
- Manage pricing: action price changes and coordinate price list communications with Purchasing; ensure accuracy through each list’s lifecycle.
- Work in the PIM: adapt to updates and evolving workflows across PIM and related systems to present products at a best-in-class standard.
- Team enablement: support the Product Merchandising Manager to train the wider eCommerce team and provide cover during absences.
- Supplier liaison: assist the Product Merchandising Manager in communications with manufacturers and partners to improve product data and content.
What you’ll bring
- Experience in eCommerce merchandising across B2C and/or B2B environments.
- Impeccable attention to detail with a process-driven approach to content accuracy and compliance.
- Confidence working with PIMs, CMS, and digital asset management tools; comfortable adapting to new software.
- Strong coordination and communication skills—able to work with suppliers, purchasing, and internal stakeholders to get things done.
- Solid Excel/Sheets skills for managing price lists and product data.
- Understanding of PDP best practices, conversion levers, SEO fundamentals, and rich media standards.
- A proactive mindset with the ability to prioritise, hit deadlines, and improve processes.
Nice to have
- Experience with membership environments, or consumer electronics/appliances.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements for product documentation (e.g., energy labelling).
- Basic HTML/CMS editing skills and familiarity with analytics or testing tools.
Pay: £30,000.00-£33,000.00 per year
