This is a part time position and applicants must be over the age of 18 years to comply with cinema licensing laws.
TYPICAL DAY TO DAY ACTIVITIES
A cinema staff member is responsible for
· Cash Handling
· Concessions
· Dealing with customer and telephone enquiries
· Front of house
· Maintaining upkeep of auditoria
· Ticketing Office
KEY AREAS FOR TRAINING
Full training will be provided in the following key areas:
- Cash Handling
- Digital Projection
- Health and Safety
- Policies and Standard Operating Procedures
- Reporting
- Stock Control
- Ticketing Software
- Fire Safety
QUALIFICATIONS AND TRAINING REQUIRED
No qualifications necessary, but retail experience is preferred.
KEY SKILLS FOR CINEMA GENERAL STAFF
Personal qualities such as good problem solving, organisational, interpersonal and verbal communication skills are important. All candidates must be confident, commercially aware and capable of forming good relationships with a wide range of people. Good business and IT skills are also important. Cinema staff must be able to work fully flexible hours and must be over the age of 18 years to comply with cinema licensing laws.
Pay: £10.85-£12.71 per hour
