We are seeking an enthusiastic and dependable Lego Club Supervisor to run a weekly after-school Lego Club at a primary school near Bednall, Stafford. This role gives children the opportunity to develop creativity, problem-solving skills, teamwork, and confidence through fun, hands-on building activities in a safe and supportive environment.
The club runs once a week, 3:20pm – 4:20pm (1 hour per week) (day to be confirmed).
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and engage a small group of primary-aged children in Lego-based activities and building challenges.
- Plan and deliver enjoyable, age-appropriate sessions that encourage imagination, creativity, and collaboration.
- Support children in developing confidence, fine motor skills, and cooperative play.
- Communicate effectively with school staff and, where appropriate, parents regarding children’s participation.
- Ensure all Lego resources and the activity space are safe, tidy, and ready for each session.
Experience & Skills
- Experience working with children in schools, clubs, childcare, or similar settings.
- Ability to engage and motivate young learners in a structured yet fun environment.
- Strong English communication skills for effective interaction with children, staff, and parents.
- Enthusiasm for play-based learning and creativity is highly desirable.
