Here at Compass Recruitment SW, we are looking for HGV Class 1 and 2 drivers for a client based in Cullompton. We are looking for drivers who would be able to start work from 0430, carrying out caged deliveries to stores throughout The South West. You're vehicle will be loaded for you in the morning, however you would be required to push/pull cages into stores and take empty cages back with you, which will require unloading upon return to the depot. Your day will involve between 7-11 drops, and routes will be approximately 10-12 hours.
We are looking for reliable drivers with either their Class 1 and/or 2, who don't mind early starts and are phsically fit due to the manual handling of cages. We can't accept drivers with any DD or DR endorsements, and drivers cannot have more than 6 penalty points on their licence.
We are looking for both full time and part time drivers for this position, and temp to perm opportunities will be available based on performace.
Monday to Friday is paid at £16ph
Saturday and Sunday is paid at £17.75ph
