The Role
As a Domiciliary Care Worker, you will provide person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes, promoting dignity, independence, and wellbeing at all times.
You will play a key role in our improvement journey by:
- Following care plans accurately
- Maintaining high standards of record keeping
- Communicating openly with managers and colleagues
- Upholding CQC Fundamental Standards in daily practice
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver personal care including washing, dressing, toileting, and mobility support
- Support with medication in line with training and company policies
- Assist with meal preparation, hydration, and nutritional needs
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Promote independence and respect individual choices
- Accurately complete care records and report any concerns immediately
- Follow safeguarding procedures and raise concerns appropriately
- Adhere to infection prevention and control practices
- Work in line with company policies, values, and CQC requirements

Essential qualities:
- A genuine passion for caring and supporting others
- Reliability, honesty, and professionalism
- Willingness to learn and develop
- Ability to follow procedures and accept feedback
- Good communication skills (spoken and written English)
Desirable:
- Previous experience in domiciliary or social care
- NVQ/QCF Level 2 or willingness to work towards it
- Understanding of person-centred care and safeguarding
