Overview
We are seeking a reliable and proactive General Factory Operative to join our busy tube & cladding manufacturer based in Brownhills.
This role involves working supporting the factory using hand tools such as grinders , saws and other and other associated steel workshop machinery.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong work ethic, practical skills, and the ability to adapt to different duties as required. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop hands-on experience in a dynamic setting.
Duties
- Assisting with the assembly of products using hand tools and power tools
- Operating basic machinery and equipment
- Conducting quality checks on items or materials as needed
- Supporting team members with ad hoc tasks to meet production targets
Experience
- Factory experience in a similar factory/engineering environment would be ideal
- Familiarity with hand tools and power tools
- Experience in manufacturing environments will be considered a plus
- A proactive attitude with the ability to follow instructions accurately and work efficiently within a team environment
