Our client is a well-established engineering manufacturer experiencing continued growth and significant investment. With ambitious plans for the future, they are looking to appoint an ambitious Planning Manager to become a key member of their senior leadership team.
The Role
You'll lead the team responsible for production planning, MRP, Bills of Materials, materials management, scheduling and goods in, ensuring customer commitments are delivered whilst continually improving operational performance.
Working closely with Operations, Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales and Customer Service, you'll become the central point that connects the business together.
You'll lead a team of planners, expeditor and goods in whilst developing planning processes that improve efficiency, visibility and customer satisfaction.
We're Looking For Someone Who...
- Understands MRP and production planning within an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Has a good working knowledge of Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Enjoys solving problems and getting into the detail.
- Builds strong relationships across multiple departments.
- Leads people with empathy, accountability and high standards.
- Thrives in fast-paced manufacturing environments.
- Wants to continually improve both systems and people.
