Delivery Driver

East Lothian (with weekly deliveries to Edinburgh)
Alandas Group is a family-run business with a number of well-established food outlets across East Lothian and Edinburgh. As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for a hands-on Driver to join our team and take ownership of daily logistics, stock, and operational organisation across our sites.
This is a fast-paced, practical role suited to someone confident in leading others, maintaining structure, and keeping operations running smoothly.
The Role:
You’ll help with deliveries, stock control, and logistics while supporting day-to-day operations across multiple locations, including our Longniddry beachfront seafood grill kiosk.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently drive a van (up to 5 tonnes)
- Carry out regular stock checks
- Maintain accurate stock levels across outlets, warehouse, and factory
- Manage and update stock control spreadsheets (Excel)
- Collect supplier deliveries
- Unload, sort, and organise stock within the warehouse
- Set up and manage stock for our Longniddry beachfront seafood grill kiosk
- Support basic maintenance tasks across sites where required
- Clean up after yourself. Use your initiative and common sense, be able to work as part of a team and independently
- Recognise that this is a small family business and we all work just as hard as our peers and go above and beyond to help each other out especially during our busiest season.
Requirements
- Valid, Clean UK driving licence and access to your own car
- Confident driving a van up to 5 tonnes
- Minimum age of 25 (insurance requirement)
- Competent and confident using Excel
- Tech-savvy with the ability to adapt to new systems and processes
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting
- Flexible with working hours, with increased availability during the summer season
- A positive, proactive attitude and willingness to be part of a small, family-run team

Pay: £15.00-£15.50 per hour
