Role Summary
As a Care Worker with Inspired2Care, you will play an important role in supporting individuals to live as independently and comfortably as possible. You will promote wellbeing through consistent, respectful, and personalised care, helping each person feel safe, valued, and supported in their daily lives.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and support with daily living tasks within clients’ homes or supported living environments
- Assist with activities such as meal preparation, personal hygiene, dressing, and safe medication support
- Monitor wellbeing and report any changes or concerns promptly to senior staff or healthcare professionals
- Build positive, trusting relationships with individuals and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring effective communication within the care team
- Encourage participation in social, leisure, and community activities to promote independence and inclusion
- Deliver person-centred support to individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and/or physical disabilities
Requirements
- Previous experience in a care or similar support role (essential)
- Good understanding of care standards, safeguarding, and best practice
- A kind, patient, and approachable nature with strong communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Flexible and adaptable to meet the changing needs of individuals
