Tarpaulin Operative / Fitter
Department – Tarpaulin Workshop
We are looking for an enthusiastic, reliable individual who is looking to learn and develop their skills and career opportunities within an tarpaulin workshop environment as a fitter/operative.
Full training and job progression will be available with support from the Workshop Manager and senior workshop staff.
The role involves production of tarpaulins to suit the commercial vehicle and agricultural industires, as well as bespoke tarp solutions for a number of other non vehicle associated markets. The candidate will work from a drawing / job design and produce 2D and 3D tarp solutions from raw materials provided. It is important the candidate can work as part of a team to produce finished jobs.
The ideal candidate should have a desire to work in the Workshop environment with a view to a long-term career progression in this field.
The role will be based from our Full Sutton, York headquarters. It is expected when required by the role that reasonable requests for overtime hours at additional rates of pay are possible.
