Job Overview
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Front of House - Team Member to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about hospitality and committed to delivering an excellent guest experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
Full-time applicants are preferred, while part-time positions may also be considered.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive, ensuring a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Assist with seating arrangements effectively.
- Take orders accurately, providing recommendations when necessary.
- Operate the POS system and handle cash and card payments accurately.
- Refill the ingredients display shelves and complimentary sauce station throughout the day.
- Process the takeaway/delivery orders efficiently
- Serve food and beverages in accordance with food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area, including tables, chairs, and service stations.
- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Support catering events as required, assisting with setup and breakdown.
- Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all operations.
Requirements
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese is essential.
- Comfortable with flexible shifts (including evenings shifts).
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team-oriented setting.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Experience in bartending or catering is a plus but not mandatory.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help others are essential qualities for this role.
Desirable
- Previous experience in a hospitality or restaurant environment is preferred but not essential.
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety regulations is advantageous.
