Job Summary
We are seeking an enthusiastic Trainee Pizza Chef to join our busy kitchen team. Duties
- Assist in preparing ingredients for pizza making, including dough, toppings, and sauces
- Support the team in assembling and cooking pizzas to high standards of quality and presentation
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in accordance with food safety regulations
- Follow recipes and instructions from senior chefs to ensure consistency in product quality
- Help with general meal preparation tasks for the restaurant’s menu offerings
- Ensure all food safety protocols are adhered to during food handling and preparation processes
- Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of orders
Requirements
- Basic experience or interest in food preparation, cooking, or culinary arts is desirable but not essential
- Prior kitchen or restaurant experience is advantageous but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential
- Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices preferred
- Strong organisational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
