Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and dynamic Sales Assistant to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner, providing product information and recommendations.
- Support visual merchandising efforts using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator to create appealing displays.
- Organise stock levels, manage inventory, and ensure products are well-presented on the shop floor.
- Supervise junior staff or interns, providing guidance and training where necessary.
- Manage administrative tasks such as processing transactions, maintaining records, and updating product listings.
- Contribute to sales strategies by analysing customer preferences and feedback to optimise merchandising approaches.
- Assist in organising promotional events and campaigns to drive footfall and sales.
- Utilise multilingual skills to communicate effectively with diverse customer groups.
- Ensure the store complies with health and safety regulations at all times.
Experience
- Previous supervisory experience within a retail environment is desirable.
- Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator is preferred for creating visual content.
- Multilingual abilities are advantageous for engaging with a diverse clientele.
- Demonstrable leadership qualities with experience in team management or mentoring roles.
- Strong organisational skills coupled with excellent time management capabilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in merchandising, stock management, or administrative duties within retail settings is beneficial.
